Hi. Let me tell you about myself. My name is Aimee Hachey. I am the coach of The Hampton High Huskies, in Hampton, NB, Canada. I am 21 years old. It is my job to be sure every cheerleder gets all the practice they need to be the best they can be. I need to check up, often to be sure their attendance is good. I show show respect and love and I deeply care for all my cheerleaders. The reason is we spend so much time together. A cheerleading squad is like your second family.
I was a cheerleader for Simonds High School here in Saint John and I was the captain of my squad. I danced for 15 years at Eileen McGrath's School of Dance and I have completed all the requirements to teach dance.
When I attended Simonds High School I was involved in many activities such as: CB Bear Project, Student Council, dances and much more. I was voted Graduation Class Treasurer and I ran my own dance club at Simonds. So, as you can see, I was involved in my High School and my community.
When I graduated I received an award, the "School Spirit Award". I didn't really relize how big of a deal it was until I was overwhelmed by interviews and I was in the local newspaper. When they introduced me for the award they said that I needed no introduction because I was such a well known student. I also was an ALL American nominee in grade 12 for my motions and jumps.
I love Cheerleading more than anything, and that is why I chose to coach it!
