    HACE would like to congratulate all of those that were awarded the Who's Who Among Students Award. Among the nominees were, Patrick Cardenas, Dalia Flores, Vishal Shah, Nida Ajaz, Sabiha Mamhood, James Hood, Sonia Hernandez, Michael Phillips, Joyce Delores Taylor and many more...=)

  • H.A.C.E. and the Film and History Club will partner once again to bring you the First Annual Hispanic Film Festival. Four movies will be shown at UH-CL's SSCB Lecture Hall: "Letters from the Other Side", " Children of Men", "Volver", and "Pan's Labyrinth".

  • Our next fundraiser: H.A.C.E. will raffle a gift basket containing gift cards from: Old Navy, Gap, Cinemark, Kohl's, Target, Wal-Mart, Foley's, and McDonald's. Value of cards range from $5 to $25.
    Ticket prices are: 1 ticket=$2.00 or 2 tickets=$3.00.

    1. What is HACE?

    HACE stands for Hispanics Advancing Culture and Education. We are an organization that works to promote the various Hispanic cultures of the world. We also work toward assisting all students in fulfilling their educational goals through academic tutoring, mentoring and fellowship.

    2. Do I have to be Hispanic to Join?

    Absolutely not! HACE has members of all ethnicities and backgrounds who are interested in learning more about other cultures.

    3. How Can I Join HACE?

    You can join HACE in one of two ways:
  • 1. Complete and submit a membership form to organization mailbox #27 in the student lounge of the SSC Building. Or
