Rowdie's Page

Rowdie is a five y/o    male sheltie.  He        does agility and has  earned both his         Novice title and his    Novice Jumpers title   in AKC.  He is            currently working on  his first title in            USDAA, and on his    Open title in AKC.

Fun Facts:

He has lost twelve                pounds in seven months    to shape up for his trials.

It was a toss up between   Rowdie or Spaz when I       named him.

His Christmas present       from Lisa was a visit from  an animal communicator.

Rowdie started his agility career in the fall of 2000 under    the instruction of Nancy Lane.  He attended his first trial in  October of 2001, and has proven himself a natural at the   sport of agility.  He was initially enrolled in the                     performance program in USDAA due to his being over-       weight.  Since losing twelve pounds, he will be competing   in the Championship program.  Rowdie's favorite obstacle  is the tunnel and least favorite would be the weave poles.

His favorite game is tug      of war with his rope.

He almost died from a        poisonous snake bite.

Dislikes:

- working for hotdogs - chasing school            buses, and UPS            trucks - Chasing Squirrels - having his tummy         rubbed - going for rides

- going to the vet - harsh words - baths - water (see above) - strangers (must     protect mommy)
