In how many ways can 3 boys & 4 girls be arranged in a row
(a) with no restriction?
(b) if the 1st person on the left is a boy?
(c) if the person on each end is a boy?
(d) if a boy is on the left & a girl is on the right?

Four girls, Anna, Betty, Clara and Diana, and three boys, Edward, Fred and George, stand in a queue. Find the number of ways this can be done if
(a) all 3 boys stand next to each other.
(b) no 2 boys stand next to each other.

3 women & 3 men are to form a queue.
Find how many different arrangements there are if the 1st & last people in the queue are both to be men.

Find the number of ways in which 4 men and 4 women can be arranged in a row
(a) with no restriction?
(b) so that the men are together?
(c) so that the men are separate?
