GrammarWhen You Need It is dedicated to the idea that it's best to learn the grammar we need when we need it! This grammar web site is yours to use in any way you want. I think it's best to use it when you have problems in your reading or writing. Please use this site as much as you want. Read the explanations over and over and do the exercises again and again.

I suggest that you print the exercises, answer the questions, and then check your answers with the answer key. There are three levels of difficulty in GWYNI and they are color coded.

Red Green Black

These grammar explanations and exercises are for beginners and more experienced learners who want to brush up their English.
These lessons are for people who have been learning English for a while. The grammar is harder and the explanations are more detailed
These lessons are more challenging and suited for people who are studying engineering, computer engineering and more technical subjects.
