1981: Speaking of Nancy, Ronald Reagan says, "I just heard earlier today -- and maybe Larry can tell me if it's true -- I just heard that some poll or something has revealed that she's the most popular woman in the world." Larry Speakes says he has seen no such poll. Reagan says, "If it isn't true, it should be." It's not.

1988: George Bush, setting off on a hunting trip in Texas, admits "I don't think I could shoot a deer. Quail -- that's something else again." First turning sissified, then threatening to assasinate the vice-president - proof that demonic possetion is real. Pray harder!
