The Mad Assassins
The "Original Members" of the TMA: PAPABEAR, WRAITH, G-MAN and PHANTOM). A team of SNIPERS and SCOUTS. Theye formed in '91 and all had previous Airsoft experiance. TMA were a force to be reckoned with!
From strength to strength through to '94. They dominated SAC.
Their strengths were TEAMWORK, STEALTH and ACCURACY. Often spotting ambushes and then sneaking upto our opponents. Always seaking 1 shot TAGS...
This period they gamed @ the old 400+ acre SAC site. Guns were non-hops and mostly all were L&S kit rifles. Powered up to around 400 fps Thanks to G-MAN, the Armourer in that period.
However, the members all drifted off. Doing there own thing....Only Phantom remained and TMA was disbanded.
MANTIS rejoined the scene, after several years out. Teaming up with Phantom, as his Spotter, they continued along the same vane as before. Managing to KICK START the team back to life. All have now returned to the TMA, with G-MAN and SPECTRE completing the circle of 6.......
The SPEEDBALL Tournament 2002 was a real test for the team. But they won the trophy and hope to defend it in 2003. The 24 Hour Trophy is their real aim, but they MARSHALLED the 2002 Team Tournament. Perhaps next year, they will get a shot at the title.
Most players have ghillie suits. All have kit to do ENDURO 5 day Events.
