Girl Poetry Fun Shit Shout Outs Blog
Girl
The page that has all the junk about me is titled Admonition because that's what my name (Monique) means.

Stories
Some people have even asked me why I didn't give this page a whacked out title, and it's because I havent posted any of my stories on there yet. 'Nuff said.

Shout Outs
The page on which I give my close and lovable friends the big mention is titled I love you! because I do love them more than the world.

Blog My blog (weblog) is titled Bleeding Inside because I guess a lot of my life can be pretty depressing, as if I'm eternally bleeding, hence the title.

Poetry
The index of all my poetry I've chosen to post on my site is titled So Poetic Am I, for the obvious reasons. All the titles for the pages on which my poetry is set in stone are song lyrics, all from different songs. The songs and the artists are below.
Forever We Shall Be is titled "Excuse me, I think I've mistaken you for somebody who gave a damn" for a reason which is unknown to me. When I was re-reading the poem, that lyric just popped into my head. It's from Foolish Games by Jewel.
I Hope You're Happy is about my mother, and how I hope all the useless shit she put my family through was worth something and that I hope she's happy, so at least one person who went through it is enjoying themselves. The lyric, "You had the world inside your hands but you did not seem to know" comes from the song Father of Mine by Everclear.
Subsided is about my parents and how I wish they would just accept me for who I am instead of insisting on me being someone more like my brother, rather than being myself. The title is a lyric from Perfect by Alanis Morissette.
To Whom it May Concern is obviously about how it's not easy to be me, etc. The lyric, "I wanna be somebody else" is from Don't Let Me Get Me by Pink.
You Made Me Fall In Love With You isn't really about anyone in particular. The title is from Fallin' by Alicia Keys. Damn I hate that song...
Anyway is a poem that was inspired by a song by Jann Arden that was on the radio. I don't even know what it's called, but the title is from that song.
Semptember Eleventh is, of course, undoubtedly about the horrific happenings in New York. The title is from a song which I love a lot, Ghetto by P.O.D... Rest in peace.
Yesterday is about the death of my Great Aunt Pummy. I never got the chance to meet her in real life, and all I have left of her are the letters of love and wisdom she sent me and the pair of earrings I never take out. I love you, Auntie. The title is from So Much for the Afterglow by Everclear.
Walk Away is about being in a relationship with someone because being without them means being "unloved", even though the person you're with doesn't love you anyway. The title, "My heart can't take no more, I keep on running back to you" is from Foolish by Ashanti.
To Whom it May Concern (Revised) carries pretty much the same meaning To Whom it May Concern but I find it's worded a bit better. The title is from Miss Popular by M2M.
Perfect is of course, about a girl wishing that she likes the way she is and that she wishes the media would accept it and move on. The title is from Unpretty by TLC.
Unfaithful is a poem that doesn't hold any personal meaning to me. I just wrote it as a school assignment where we were asked to read some of the book of Psalms and get an idea for a poem, and write one. While I was reading, I noticed that all the poems were praising God, asking God to kill the author's enemies, thanking God or asking God for help with pety issues. It pissed me off to see that at the slightest sign of issue, these people started praying and figured it would solve their problems, and because they believed in it, it happened. Period. So I decided to write a poem from God's point of view. I know my views on this might offend some people, but screw it. It had to be said.
The End is a poem that was inspired by Anymore a poem by some girl, whose name I don't know. I wish I could put her link on here, and once I find her site again I will. Anyway, the title of the page is from In the End by Linkin Park (I love that band!).
