I was born in May of 1956 in the Naval Hospital at Bethesda Maryland to Donald and Margaret Alderson. I grew up as a Navy brat the eldest son with two brothers and a sister. I made Eagle Scout and graduated High School in 1974. I entered the Marine Corps that same year.
In the Marines, I went to boot camp at Parris Island then on to become a Naval Gunfire Spotter, went overseas and spent many a happy year in the Phillipines. Got sent back stateside and went to Airborne Jump school. Decided to swith to the airwing and started a career as an aircrewman. Flying in DC-3, KC-130, DC-9, UC-12, and T-39 aircraft. I also served in Narcotics enforcement and worked as an aircraft dispatcher. I discovered my wife Debbie and helped in the birth of my children. After twenty years service I retired from the Marine Corps. It was great.
After Retirement from the Marines I started my second career as a Naval Science Instructor at a Mississippi High School. It has been a great challenge but one I won't quit on. I also recommited my life to my savior Jesus Christ. Christ has blessed my family greatly.
