The
GULF COAST BIRD CLUB is dedicated to promoting the knowledge and
conservation of birdlife, other wildlife, natural habitats and natural
resources; and to fostering an appreciation of our natural environment and
of the significance of its influence upon human life. Founded in 1984, the
GULF COAST BIRD CLUB seeks to provide educational opportunities to the
general public and to other organizations regarding bird life.
We welcome all who are interested in birding and nature to attend our
educational meetings and participate in our field trips. Field Trips
during September through May give opportunities to see the many birds that
inhabit, winter in, or migrate through our area. MeetingsThe club meets September through May, on the second Thursday of the month, at 7:00 p.m. in Frasch Hall on the McNeese State University Campus. Meetings include presentations on birding and nature. Driving Directions and Campus Map
