Born on July 31, 1912 in Inhambane (Mtamba), Mozambique, student of Vadodra (Baroda) College, graduate of Mumbai (Bombay) University (1939). Married Miss Dilawer K. Kavi, also a student of Baroda College. Taught at high schools in East Africa. Currently, Mr. & Mrs. Rupani live in Jamnagar, India
