Pageant contestants are dropping like flies when former Mount Rose American Teen Princess Gladys Leeman is in charge of this year's show...because her beautiful (ok, it's Denise Richards, and beauty is subjective) daughter is competing this time out.

Their small Minnesota town rallies around this spectacle each year, and the competition is neck-and-neck between rich girl Becky Leeman and the trailer park's own Amber Atkins ... now that former frontrunner Tammy Curry has met her early demise, that is. Amber works hard toward her victory, practicing her tapdance talent during her part-time job at the funeral home, but is continually threatened by mysterious happenings... such as her trailer blowing up ... sautering her mom's hand to her beer can in the process.

Will Amber prevail in the end? Will Bitchy Becky get her come-uppance? Will The Retard ever get unstuck?!

This mockumentary features a bunch of obvious sight gags, isn't very politically correct, and would probably offend, at some level, just about everyone.

...which is exactly what makes it such a delicious guilty pleasure.

anorexic Princess: "Don't Cry Out Loud" by Melissa Manchester.

The wonderful Allison Janney appears as the horny, beer-swilling Loretta.
For those who aren't familiar with her work, she later appeared as
Mrs. Fitts in American Beauty, and currently stars as CJ Cregg on the
critically-acclaimed The West Wing.
