Guen's Garb
A costuming page
I am many things in my life.  And one of those things is a costumier.  I started as a Rennie geek wanting to "make my own garb" instead of buyhing it, and I advanced to "I wonder if I can make that Victorian dress for Halloween."  I'm still new to the craft and by no means an expert, but I feel as though my costumes can hold their own against the average costumer and I'm quite proud of that.

I prefer historical and movie reproductins to the regular Cosplay topics of Anime, Comics, and Manga.  It's just a personal preference.  I've seen some Amazing creations based on those genres, but I they generally don't inspire me.  Although once I created my own version of a Japanese spirit inspired by the movie Spirited Away and both traditional and Avante Garde Japanese dress.  Maybe I'll don the costume and make-up again soon and get pics to post.

Anyhow, this is my first foray into the world of webpages, so be patient.  I'll learn how to make this place look pretty someday, but for now it's all about the costumes.
Here I am cheesin' it up with a Leatherface replica at a Halloween party. This bustle dress has turned out to be rather well worn. It's nice when you can find all sorts of different uses for your costumes when you originally thought they would be a one time wear. You can't see them in this picture, but for the party, I added vamp teeth and was a Victorian Vampire.
