Welcome.
This site is dedicate to the shittiest, most overrated college in the nation -
Georgia Institute of Technology. This site has been created by Tech Students for
Tech Students and other unfortunate people thinking about enrolling at Tech.
You've seen all the ratings and the hype, but this site is about much more than
that. We're sick and tired of being shitted on by this school so we think it's
about time that someone got the truth out there - the things they don't tell you
about Georgia Tech.
It has a good name, but I can't see how. This school makes a name for itself by
making its students pay through the nose for their work. If you're thinking
about coming to Tech, I hope its only because you enjoy spending Friday night
coding on your computer, you avoid human contact if at all possible, and you
think that one day you're going to make lots of money and you can buy everything
you'll ever want in life, because that's the only incentive Tech has to offer.
So take a look around...
You are lucky number
to realize that Georgia Tech Fuckin' Sucks
NEWS AND UPDATES:
[April 20, 2002]
- Grand Opening Baby! The athleticss ppage still isn't up yet, but then again,
what's there to say
about it? The goal is to get 10,000 visitors. It's a helluva goal,
but
I think it can be done.
[April 21, 2002] - Only
been up for one day and already got 200+ visitors!! I'm lovin' it.
You're obviously lovin' it.
Everybody's happy!
[April 22, 2002] - I
added some legal information and contact information on the sidebar.
I'm working on getting a mailform
page up for suggestions.
[April 23, 2002] - By popular demand, I've
added a page about the infamous Dining
Services. It's kinda short so
send an email if you think you have something good to add
to it. Who can help
out with some info for the athletics page, other than the fact that
they hype it up way more than its
worth?
Since I've been having mad traffic through
this site, you can now find it at:
http://www.oocities.org/gtsux2003/ |
http://www.oocities.org/gtsux2002/ |
Due to threats of lawsuits against my person, I have been forced to remove
personal
attacks on Pat Phelan, Chris Morris,
and Ben Garrison. I do not fuck around with the
law, so this whole site may have to
be removed soon or until I can find a better place to
host. I would appreciate some
help.
[April 24, 2002] - Added a section
called "Your Thoughts" so you can see what other Tech
students had to say about my site.
As you know, finals are coming up soon, so don't
expect a whole lot of work to be done
on the site in the near future. And for those of you
who have emailed me, sorry I'm slow
in writing back, but I will eventually. Hit the 1400
mark this morning. Hell yeah!
SO THEY GOT MY HOTMAIL ADDRESS. ALL IS NOT LOST.
[April 25, 2002] - 900 VISITORS YESTERDAY!!!
Keep it up people. I added a problem to
the Physics page, added some
stuff to the housing page, and update the "Your
thoughts" section. Added
another rant about Webwork to the CoC page. Also added
something about
Tech Goggles in the "This Is Tech" page. Worth checking out,
although it
won't help my bandwidth any.
[April 26, 2002] - Added some more to the "Your
Thoughts" page. Also a few things at the
bottom of the housing page and a rant on the Stinger from
Eric. Added a sample
problem from CS1321 to the CoC page. Oh, and a correction to
the construction
page. It has taken them 22+ months to redo that street by Peters parking
deck. My
estimate of 11+ months was way off. Sorry guys. Added Corey's
thoughts on Britain to
the "Dining Services" page. Changed the name on the chemistry page
so I don't get
into more shit than I already am.
Also, like I said, I lost my hotmail email address, but a lot
of you had emailed me with
some really good stuff to put on the page. Please email
me again at my new email
address with your ideas.
[April 28, 2002] - Apparently Lycos email is a piece
of junk. The new email address is
gtsux2002@yahoo.com. Please
send all mail there. Added some more comments to
the "Your Thoughts" page.
Lookin' like 4712 people love this site. Maybe 10,000 was
not a high enough goal.
[April 29, 2002] - Gave credit to Justin for the
Tarzan problem on the Physics page. Split
the Housing page to incorporate
student testimonials. Did the same for the Dining
Services page. I'm working on
doing the same for the other pages. As usual, many
more of you can find yourselves
listed on the your thoughts page.
[May 12, 2002] - Hit the 10,000 mark!!! GTSux
cannot be stopped. Sorry but I haven't
found time to make an update in a
while, but there's now a Course Critique up. Check it
out. The big thing I'm working
on for next semester is gonna be called 'Beat the
Bookstore' I'm trying to get a
forum set up on the site where people can get in touch
with other people selling books
because I'm fucking tired of getting 3 bucks for a 30
dollar book when I try to go
sell my shit back.
[May 13, 2002] - I added a rating system to the
Course Critique. Keep sending in critiques
of your own. I decided to just
forget about trying to add an Athletics page because
there simply isn't much to say about it.
I added a nice story about mice in Woodruff to
the student testimonial section on the
housing page. I also added a story about a
certain physics professor that was
emailed to me. Check that out on the Physics page.
The 'Your Thoughts' page has been
updated. A bunch of people have told me that there
is already a site that lets students
sell books to each other, at gtbooks.com, so I'm not
gonna bother making that anymore.
[May 19, 2002] - I got another good story about housing from a student -
you can find it on
the student section of the housing
page. I also got a good rant about the Mexicans at
Britain, so check the student section
on dining for that. I split the parking page so it now
has testimonials from students as
well.
[May 23, 2002] - Well, I got an email from the
Georgia Tech Office of Legal Affairs today,
saying that I had to remove their
logo from my site. So that is why the title is changed.
I've decided to have a contest for
students to come up with a new logo for my site. All
you have to do is right click and
save the current logo bar, modify it, and send it back to
me.
[August 21, 2002] - Just when you thought I was done.
I told you this shit would never end.
I've been working on some heavy site
renovations for the near future. GTSUX will be
better than ever. For now, I've
added a heap of courses to the critique page. I've also
fixed some things on the COC page. I
added a story about a veggie burger incident at
Woodruff. And I've also added a
lot more of your opinions about my site to the 'Your
Thoughts' page. I also added
another parking testimonial to the student section of the
transportation and parking page.
OH YEAH, DON'T FORGET TO TAKE THE NEW
INTERACTIVE TA APPLICATION FOR THE CS
DEPARTMENT, FOUND ON THE
COC PAGE. Thanks to Barry for
this ingenious contribution. On the housing page, I
added a sub-page about the various
kinds of people you might end up living with. If you
have a story worthy of the page,
please feel free to email it to me.
[August 28, 2002] - Added some more horrific stories
about the kinds of roommates and/or
various people here at Tech on the
Housing page.
[August 29, 2002] - Announcing the addition of one of
the greatest additions to my site, the
VIRTUAL TOUR. Here you can find
many pictures showing you how beautiful a place
Tech actually is. I also added
a another student's story about the idiots at the Parking &
Transportation department.
[October 2, 2002] - I've had 20,000 visitors to my
site, which just goes to show that this is
the greatest tribute to Tech ever.
Thanks to everyone who has helped make this site
popular, and lets keep it rolling.
I created a new section called the SCOREBOARD,
which is designed to keep a tab on
how many people I've influenced enough to either
leave this shithole or to never come
here to begin with. I added another type of roomate
to the prospective roomates page.
I added several other critiques to the course
critique. Also, there is now a
beautiful picture of a stinger on my Parking &
Transportation page. I
elaborated on the Physics page, adding more problems and
going into detail about the way they
teach and why they choose to structure the class the
way they do. It's all about the
money....go see for yourself.
[November 7, 2002] - Today I added a LINKS page
containing various links to things that
people have sent me and other things
that I find interesting. I also added more to the
Course Critique and updated Your
Thoughts.
