G.T.Potzy has had an interest in music for many years. Through his youth, he has played in many bands on the West Coast of B.C., Canada, ranging in music and in styles. He has always attempted his hand at songwriting and wishes it to be published. Now at 33, he has decided to put his music out in hopes that people may show an interest. With everyday he is honing his skills both as a musician and as a songwriter. Many of the songs he writes are intended for vocalists and bands with more skills in their respected areas. Here is a collection of some of his work ranging from an alternative genre to children's music. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Thanks...Jasmine

All songs were recorded on a 4 or 8 track home unit.

All instruments and vocals are preformed by GTPotzy

**Due to the reduced format, the quality of each sample has been affected**

(all samples are about one minute in length, less than 500 k, and are in MP3 format)

1. Lost and Found: (Hard Rock): With distorted guitars and vocals, I wanted to achieve both groove and some feel. The lyrics are about trying to find oneself.

2. The Goofy Song: (Children's): This song was written for my class of English learners. It combines both listening and speaking  skills....and it turned out to be a lot of fun.

3. Worlds Collide: (Rock): This song speaks for itself. We all had feeling about September 11...these are my thoughts.

4. Change: (Folk Rock): I took a simple riff with a clean guitar to achieve a nice sound. The lyrics are about being closed minded.

5. Breathe: (Alternative): This is my attempt to have a familiar riff repeated with a hard beat. The lyrics are just about needing space.

6. What We Need: (Folk Rock): A nice melody with a hook. The lyrics are about being independent.

7. Loser: (Rock): A poppy sound with a nice driving beat. The lyrics are about people who rely on "the system" to take care of them.

8. Nice to Say: (Bluesy Rock): A simple blues' riff with some groove. The lyrics are just for fun.

9. Stupid Things: (Rock): A repeated progression with a neat beat . The lyrics are about how we sometimes use bad judgment.

10. Youth Be Gone: (Rock): What can I say, we all get old.
