Glade Spring Volunteet Life Saving Squad is located off Exit 29 of Interstate 81 at 412 East Glade Street. The squad was corporated on August 22, 1985. The squad has all volunteer members and operates on donations and squad events. Glade Spring Volunteer Life Saving Crew proudly protects 5000 people living in an area of 50 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status.
