The MOMS Club® of Greensboro - Central, NC is a nonprofit support group for mothers who have made the choice to stay at home with their children. Nationally, the MOMS Club® has over 2,000 chapters and over 100,000 members. We are the only national support group specifically for all at-home mothers, and we'd like to have you as a member, too! |

The MOMS Club® has several chapters in Greensboro, NC. Together, these chapters have over a hundred members who possess a variety of interests and talents and who represent a broad range of educational and professional backgrounds. The Central Chapter of Greensboro includes moms who live in the following zip codes: Greensboro zips 27410 & 27406 (portion west of Hwy 421), Summerfield, Climax and Pleasant Garden. |

What we offer |
|
|
|
Monthly meetings:
All of our meetings and most of our activities are during the day, when at-home mothers need support. Our monthly meetings feature speakers and crafts, as well as activities for our children. |
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
Outings:
Each month we have outings such as trips to the zoo, picnics at the park and visits to the library for story time. |
|
|
|
|
|
Family parties:
At certain times during the year, we plan parties for the whole family to attend. |
|
|
|
|
|
Playgroups:
We can connect you with a small group of other moms in the club who have children similar in age. Playgroups generally meet once a week, alternating members' homes. |
|
|
|
|
|
Activity Groups:
We sponsor activity groups for members with common interests. Some of the activities include cooking, scrapbooking, a project co-op, a monthly MOMS Night Out, and much more! |
|
|
|
|
|
Service projects:
We participate in various events during the year to benefit children and moms in the Greensboro area that are less fortunate than we are. |
|
|
|
Bring your children |
|
|
|
We believe that being a mother shouldn't isolate you, so you are welcome to bring your children with you to all of our activities. Please remember that you are responsible for your child's safety and behavior at all times. Sometimes we may have a volunteer member watching the older children away from the mothers, but most of the time we are all together. Babies are always welcome to stay with their mothers and, of course, you may nurse at our meetings. |
