Welcome to the home of the Gulf Shores High School Marching Band, better known as the Pride of Pleasure Island. The acting director as of now is Mr. Jim Harrison. Assistant director and director of the Gulf Shores Middle School band is Mr. Daniel I. Akins. For information about any of our staff and/or band foundation please feel free to contact us. PPI has been through a year full of ups and downs. With all the controversy and turmoil of the year the band has held out and has been extremely successful. An incredible marching season full of wins could not have been followed by anything more appropriate than a trip to state contest.
