Bujinkan Ninjutsu Armidale
Bujinkan is an amalgamation of 9 martial art schools originating in feudal Japan.

Many students come to the Bujinkan after feeling that something is missing from the martial arts they are doing. Bujinkan has never forgotten that martial arts were developed on the battlefield. The effectiveness of a school's methods meant life or death for the students.

We study the timeless principles of martial arts - including; minimising our weaknesses, using deception, exploiting the opponent's weaknesses, correct timing and distance. Because we use this knowledge for defense, we are morally and legally allowed to use any means to survive.

Students usually train with a partner, taking turns at being the attacker and defender. This allows us to thoroughly study and explore a technique in a particular situation. The Bujinkan curriculum is complete - we use striking, kicking, throwing, locking and weapons as neccessary within techniques. Training (as opposed to fighting) is co-operative, fun and safe.

The real lesson of martial arts is that the only way to become good at something is sustained effort over a prolonged period of time.
