Fruits Of Duty!
Original Poem By
Paul N Johnson
Ostrander, Ohio
You plant a seed in the ground,
Water it gently so it will grow.
Where the bright sunlight gets round,
Planting them in small rows.
All at once the seed starts to bud,
It's roots grow deep in the earth real firm.
As the plants begin to spud,
Showing their health and coming to term.
Each morning it drinks up the dew,
Watch as the flower grows pretty for you.
Now the shape of Nature's work,
The flowers begin to come into view.
Amazing as their petals open for sun,
Their scent and awesome beauty.
For your eyes to gaze down upon,
Delight now in the fruits of your duty!
