| There is not much to say when you put together in a band the talents of Simon Bartholomew from The Brand New Heavies, Nick Van Gelder ex Jamiroquai drummer, the bassist Nick Seymour, along with members of Primal Scream, Soul II Soul and The Herbalizer, and the voice of Marcina Arnold. The result is a funk acid jazz band with a touch of latin groove. Akimbo has only one album called "On Top" and we are expecting more to come. |
