The House of Grizz
A suit of armor he wears by day
by night he's the mask of a bear
the clutches of the grizzly will draw you in
to his world of reverence and care.
The depth of his heart has no end
poet from within a sight to behold
inspired by those who surround him
all his words worth their weight in gold.
The grizzly travels inside your mind
mesmerized are all by his charm
words painting visions of life and love
while protecting you if he can from harm.
Stories come to life before your eyes
insightful with passion thrown in
stopping for a moment then staying for hours
once you've been drawn to his den.
With troubled heart the bear may arrive
needing a moment to search his soul
gathering his thoughts and forming a plan
the grizzly determined to reach his goal.
Happiness and peace to all who enter
wishing for your dreams to come true
your poetry will blossom into a work of art
letting the essence of the artist show through.
Whether suit of armor or the mask of a bear
the compassion and heart is still his
