NorthStar Ski Resort is a 3-star hotel-style resort located along West Martis Creek, about 10 minutes off of highway 80 (6 mi South on hwy 267 ("North Shore Boulevard"), off I-80), (click for yahoo map*).
For Holiday / Vacation Rent: 3138 Aspen Grove.  Click link below (or here*) for a list of additional features.  Sleeps 1-4 people, fully furnished, includes kitchenette, gas fireplace (heater), cable television w/VCR&DVD, and walking-distance location to ski-lifts, health center, and the "NorthStar Village."  Short driving distance from Reno (50 mins) and North Lake Tahoe (15 mins).  Price is $124-$225, depending on time of year/demand ($190 during most ski periods), plus 10% hotel tax.  Also, please ask about the stay&ski free package which includes price breaks on lift tickets, rentals, lessons, everything you need to get on the slopes!
