Thanks for Stopping by

Hi there. My name is Greg, I'm 41 years old, single no dependents and live alone outside of Golden, CO. I love to Hike, Snow Ski as well as one or two backpacks and a couple of 4WD jaunts a year.. I also love the local CO live music scene. One of my favorite venues is Red Rocks Amphitheater, where I attend a half dozen concerts a year. The link for Red Rocks is http://www.redrocksonline.com If you want to know what is happening in the CO music scene, do check out this site, it is awesome http://www.denverbouldermusic.com

I love to explore the CO Mountains. In the winter, I do snow ski a lot. When I Ski Instructed, I typically did 50+ days a season. Now I ski about 30 days a season. I also dabble with a little snowboarding, and enjoy it as another means of flying down the Mountain. In the warmer months, I love to hike and attend Colorado Music Fests. I enjoy both day trips and overnight backpacking outings to high alpine lakes. I also enjoy taking my Jeep into the high country and find it is a way to access sections of the National Forests not too heavily utilized. I do have a Mountain Bike, but usually hike along a trail rather than ride a bike.

I am a Mechanical Engineer, currently working from a home office as a District Sales Manager for a line of equipment primarily used in the Mineral processing industry. I also use to work in the Air Pollution Control Industry, as well as design cement plant processing equipment. That job was very interesting, in the sense that I was sent to very remote plant sites in Asia to oversee equipment refurbishment or installation. I once went four weeks in the Indian Desert without seeing another American.

Here is picture of my 'new' toy.. A 1976 Volvo C303. It's the civilian version of a Swiss Military vehicle. In it's past life it served on a Swiss Fire Department as a Fire-Rescue Truck. It's an awesome off road machine and I'm making it into a camper for some high adventure.
