    Welcome Message
    St. Andrew's Anglican Church serves the Nisga'a people who live in the village of Lakalzap. Our Church is relatively new and is the largest Anglican Church building on the mainland outside of Vancouver. The people of Lakalzap built this Church through a series of work projects. One famly would privde the food for a week while volounteer workers erected the Church. Most of the 800 people in the village are Anglican. It was orginally a Methodist village but in 1904 the village decided to become Anglican for the sake of unity within the Nisga'a nation.
