General Info : The scientific name of the Green Tree Python was changed in 1994 to Morella Viridis from Chondropython Viridis, to reflect it's close relationship to the Carpet Pythons. Even today many pro's still call the Green Tree Python, the Chondro Python.

Appearance : The most typical adult phase of the Green Tree Python is a beautiful bright green, althought yellow and blue Green's are found from time to time. A series of white or blue dorsal and/or later is present on most.

Breeding : Greens are egg layers and may lay up to 26 eggs per clutch.
