NOTES:
03/13/99 -
This was the first day since last year that I raced my car. And a good and bad thing happened on this day.. first the GOOD thing... I beat my all time record on my very FIRST race for the year.. last year my time was 16.858 1/4mile, and if you looked above on the chart.. my very first run for the day I did a whopping 16.837 (hey it's only like .019th of a second, but I beat it, hehe) and the bad thing, when I got to elimination's.. I red lined on the first shot.. better luck next time :-)

TODAY was awesome!!! I had the best day.. great times and lots of races.. I got in 4 races the whole day... the first three were my time trials!!! on my second run for the day I got my BEST of all time (so far) which was 16.713.. I hope to beat that, because I got a intake and hopefully i'm going to be putting it in sometime this week... we'll see on my next log... anyway...my last two runs were my elimination.. I won my first one..and lost on my second one..for both of my elimination rounds I had used 16.80 as my dial time .. my first run I won by hitting 17.055 and my second 16.941 .. I was pissed because I did really well on my second run, but the guy I was racing did better... his dial was a 15.45 and he ran a 15.571... I was murdered on that run.. but oh well, I had a great time and that's all that matters ... more updates and pictures on previous page very soon! (NOTE: the last run wasn't listed in the chart because i accidently put in my appointents time and didn't notice it until a week later, so i just recently took out that row)

AHH.... sigh.. that's what i got to say bout today's races... nothing too special on this wed night... 5 time trials, no iliminations... i hit 16.8 on my 4th runs for the night... and by best r/t for the night was a .660 (on my first run for the night) and that's about it... no intake this time either, hopefully i'll have it by next race!

AHH... sigh again!!! i finally got my intake, BUT no results yet!! i don't know why. i know that an intake makes a difference, but i still need to get my muffler and headers, and so on.. i'll be getting all of that soon.. but for now.. i'll do my best.. hey, don't forget, it's only and automatic!! the best thing i did today was my r/t which was .662, everything else just sucked.. better luck this sat!

THIS WAS A GOOD ONE.... I was there from 1pm until like 9:30... i got a total of 6 runs the whole day.. it was packed too.. it went pretty smoothly... ran my first allright.. and for some reason on my second run... i accidently kept the shift in 1-L (low) and i hit 80 mph in L.. which isint good for the engine and trany, oh well, car's fine and i got a good time in my 4th run...which was a 16.734. not my best which is 16.713, but close.. "I WILL HIT 16.6 ONE OF THESE DAYS" hehe.. what else.. umm in eliminations.. i did terrible.. i dialed in at a 16.8 and i did a 17.108.. oh well.. hopefully i do better next time...

Today was weird.. i got 6 runs in a 1 1/2 period.. haha.. around 2:30/3:00 pm, it got rained out.. there was noone there and i got alot of runs in.. Today is the first set of runs that i have my new MAXSPEED muffler on my car.. my weight was 3016 lbs. i know if i shave down the weight a little bit then i can get back into the 16 range, i was very suprised that i didn't even get into the high 16 range today, but oh well. .it's allright... on the other hand.. i got a 2 really good Reaction Times in today which were .546 and .570.
