The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution was founded on October 11, 1890, for historic, educational, and patriotic purposes.  The George Rogers Clark Chapter, NSDAR was founded on January 16, 1896.

Our meetings are at the Holley Court Terrace, Oak Park, IL
Friday luncheon meetings begin at 10:30 a.m.  
Saturday breakfast meetings are at 9:00 a.m.

Activities and Events

The George Rogers Clark Chapter sponsors the NSDAR Good Citizen Award & Scholarship Contest for High School Seniors.  The award is given to one student from each school with the following qualities:  Dependability, Service, Leadership and Patriotism.  The George Rogers Clark Chapter awarded Seniors from the following schools:

                       Proviso West High School
The George Rogers Clark Chapter sponsors the Junior American Citizens (JAC) Contest.  The JAC Contest is open to students in grades 1 through 12.  For contest details, please e-mail the George Rogers Clark Chapter at

The George Rogers Clark Chapter participates in the Annual Bataan Day Memorial Service sponsored by the Maywood Bataan Day Organization and the Village of Maywood.

On November 11, 2008 The George Rogers Clark Chapter participated in a Veterans Day Memorial Service sponsored by the VFW in Oak Park, IL.
