Cooperative Learners in Central Kentucky, or CLICKY!  We are an informal group who welcomes all families, respects all belief and learning systems, and offers social support in home education. We promote learning through socialization and networking.  We believe that by sharing and working together we can improve our children's education and life experiences. Each individual family's goals can be achieved and even surpassed through outreach to other families, organizations, and opportunities.

Fall 2008 ACTIVITY SCHEDULE:

Grayson County Library Monthly Bookclub for Homeschoolers next meeting 9/15 10-11 a.m.
Be sure and pick up your family's book before the meeting so that you can join in the discussion!

Homeschooler 4-H Club:
AThe next meeting of the homeschooler 4-H group will be in September.  Bring your calendars and ideas for a planning session.  This group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, at 9:30 a.m., at the Ag office (across from Huddle House).  This class can easily count as a science or health credit in your curriculum, if you wish.

Other activities:

The Grayson County Library has a calendar of  activities at the library for youth.  Activities are classified by grade to guide parents in selecting not only the academic level but also the most appropriate social match for their students.

The Grayson County Library also has a TAG (Teen Advisory Group) for helping at the library.  There's an application form that requires three letters of recommendation.

If you have a student that is 12 years or older, it is possible to volunteer at the Humane Society in a variety of helpful ways.
