ACCOMMODATION AT THE GRANGE

In the Victorian farm guest house we have full central heating, sitting room with log fire, dining room, lounge with video (with a selection of videos but you are welcome to bring your own), bathroom, washroom, and shower room, comfortable beds and vanity units with hot and cold water, as well as tea making facilities in each room, some rooms are also shower en-suite, and there is an outside games room. The accommodation has been awarded Wales Tourist Board (One Crown) and the Grange is an Accredited Activity Centre insuring regular inspections of standards for your comfort and safety.
Meals include country style home cooking - three course breakfast, packed lunch and three course evening meal, and coffee, any particular dislikes or special requirements, please let us know when booking.

Tea, coffee, canned drinks and chocolate available other than main meal times at extra charge.

There is no public transport available. Transport can be arranged (car or mini-bus) to leave Abergavenny (rail or bus station) at a reasonable rate. We can also arrange transfers to and from airports.

The nearest shops are at the interesting town of Hay-on-Wye. A larger selection of shops are available at the, not too distant, town of Abergavenny (where you'll also find a heated swimming pool within a leisure centre). There are many castles and places of interest to visit.

A location for pony trekking is necessarily many miles from a town so make sure you bring with you all your personal necessities. You are advised to bring warm clothing and a complete change of clothes in case of rain (we hope you won't need them).

Hard hats of the current safety standard are available on hire.
