Oleg is a quick skater with alot of endurance and also has one mean slap shot. "I'm gonna have to play around with the lines and find the right chemistry, says Ducaine. "But I really believe that the team is starting to look more of what I envisioned when I brought it here." "I have made several changes to the roster, and I am excited to see where we will stand after a few games." |

| In just his 3rd game in the National Hockey League, RW Horrace Keller netted a hat-trick in the Jets 6-5 win over the 'Canes. Keller didn't knock in his first goal until the 9:58 mark in the 2nd period, as Strbak and Beech picked up the assists. "I took the shot from the circle and the puck just took a wierd bounce off the defenseman," said Keller. "I was just as suprised as Irbe." Keller went on to score twice more with goals at 7:28 in the 3rd off passes from Kraft and Beech, and at 15:24 with assists from Orpik and Beech. Beech picked up all 3 of his assists in the game off of Keller's goals. "Keller can really move," said Beech. "It was an amazing game, and some amazing shots by Horace. I kept passing him the puck, and he kept putting it in." Keller was able to score 3 goals off of 5 shots, ending the game with an amazing 60% shooting average. Keller was also the 1st game star with assist man Kris Beech picking up the 2nd game star. Keller has been playing on the 3rd line with C Kris Beech and LW Milan Kraft. |
