November 10, 1999
Eric knocks on Alice Horton's back door and is welcomed by a smile and a hug from Greta. He got her a present..a minature version of the Statue of Liberty. Eric tells Greta he got a great job offer in New York, but he’ll be back to Salem all of the time and wants her to come visit him there as well. They agree to meet up at the Cheatin’ Heart after he’s gone home and unpacked and she does a few thing at Gran’s. After Greta goes inside, Fake Hope tells herself she can tell her daughter likes Eric a lot. She says to herself that she'll get Eric back if he ever hurts her daughter.
Eric walks in the Cheatin’ Heart. Nicole pops up and welcomes him home. He’s not happy to see her, especially drinking. He essentially tells her he’s not interested in working at Titan, reminds her she’s married and he’s moved on with his life. Greta walks in and he tells her his date is there and to lay off the Vodka and he greets Greta. She tells him about hearing someone outside after he left and feeling like she was back in her mother’s castle. They hug.
November 12, 1999
Eric is playing a game of basketball with John, Bo, and Shawn. Eventually, the conversation turns to first loves. Bo says that it's something that stays with you forever, and Eric hopes that isn't true, considering what happened between him and Nicole. John asks him what's going on with that, and Eric replies that he's still trying to deal with it. The conversation turns to Greta. Eric hesitates a little and both Bo and John call him on it. Eric says that Greta is an amazing person and that whenever he's with her, he feels like he has to protect her. John suggests that she's the right girl for him. Eric says that they're going to take it slow and see if that's right. They continue to play basketball while Eric says to himself that he can't get Nicole out of his mind.
November 15, 1999
Eric and Greta arrive at the Titan Photo Lab together. He wonders why he hasn't heard about the job from New York yet. Cue Nicole who walks in and says that the people from New York did call. Eric asks what they said and she tells him that they liked his work, but that they needed some sexy lingerie shots before they could decide if they wanted to hire him. Eric says that he doesn't have any of those types of photographs in his portfolio. Nicole offers to let Eric use the Titan facilities and offers to book him a model for the shoot. But Eric comments that it would be too hard to find a model he was compatible with because these lingerie shoots are difficult. Nicole then offers her own services and tell Eric that she'd gladly model for him. Greta doesn't look too happy about that. Eric then catches on and accuses Nicole of making the whole thing up just so they could spend time together. Nicole is taken aback and tells Eric to call New York himself to see that she's telling the truth. He does just that and leaves the photo lab, leaving Nicole and Greta there shooting looks at each other.
Eric comes back and confirms that Nicole was telling the truth. She asks again if he'd like to use her as the model, and Eric asks to speak to Greta alone. He asks Greta if she's okay with this. She appreciates his concern, but it's really up to him. Eric calls Nicole back into the room and tells her that they're on.
Later, Eric is showing Greta how to set up the lights for the photo shoot. Greta says that she would be enjoying this more if she knew that Nicole wasn't the model. Eric reassures her that he would never do anything to jeapordize their relationship. Greta is happy to hear that, just as Nicole comes out wearing some pretty sexy lingerie -- white bra + underwear with a see-through white teddy over it. Eric and Greta just stare at her, their mouths hanging open.
Eric leads Nicole over to the rug where she is to pose. He sets up the camera, dims the lights, and starts taking photos of her. While Nicole is posing sexily for Eric, he starts having flashbacks of when he and Nicole were making love. He becomes flustered and has to stop for a moment. He then resumes and kneels right in front of Nicole and continues taking photos of her. Finally, Greta has had enough and tells Eric that she's going to leave. He tries to get her to stay, but she insists on leaving. When she walks out the door, Eric goes right back to Nicole and they continue on with the photo shoot.
Greta ends up on the pier, as "Hope" sees her and tells herself that she must tell Greta who she really is.
The photo shoot still underway, Nicole asks Eric if they can take a short break. Eric says sure, he could use one also. It's a little awkward between them as neither of them say anything to each other. Nicole starts pouring a little water down her chest and Eric tries not to notice. Nicole saunters over to the radio and puts on some sexy music and asks Eric if he minds -- the music helps her get in the mood. Eric says not at all and the two continue with the shoot. While Eric is setting up the camera again, Nicole takes off the white teddy, leaving her in just the bra and underwear. Eric just stares at her as Nicole says, "Let's do it!"
November 16, 1999
At the pier
Greta meets up with "Hope" and she can sense that Greta is upset. She tells her about Nicole and Eric doing the photo shoot. She says that Nicole is very comfortable with her body. The conversation turns to true love and Greta mentions her and Bo and "Hope" says that they are soulmates. Greta then mentions Marlena and John and says she knows that her mother and John were close but she thinks he and Marlena belong together. About then Marlena and John walk up and are arm in arm. It's obvious they are very much in love but "Hope" does not like it at all. "Hope" says she is looking forward to their next session she is sure some interesting things will come out. John wants to get Marlena home so he can pamper her and off they go laughing and having a good time. Greta starts talking to "Hope" again about how she feels her mother presence so much around her and "Hope" looks at her and says your mother is alive.
The Photo Shoot continues...
Eric and Nicole continue on with the photo shoot. Nicole starts getting all seductive. As she poses, she asks Eric how he wants it -- she can give it to him any way he wants. Eric is sweating bullets at this point and stops. Nicole goes over to him, puts her hand on his arm, and asks him what's wrong. Eric snaps that they both know what she's up to. Nicole teases him and says that he's angry. That's good, she says, go with it. Without a word, Eric pulls up a chair for Nicole to pose on. She sits down on it and Eric tells her to straddle it. He begins taking pictures again as Nicole reminds him about the time they were doing a photo shoot and Eric got so hot that he locked the door and they made love right there on the floor. All this talk is getting to Eric so he has to stop again. He puts his hands on his face and is clearly shaken. Nicole softens up and tells Eric that she misses him. She asks if he misses her too. Eric sadly asks why she gave up on them. Nicole says that she had no choice. There were secrets that she didn't want him to know about. So Eric asks her to tell him everything right now. Nicole asks if that's what he really wants and he says that he would never lie to her. Nicole chickens out and says that she can't tell him and to please stop asking her to. She goes back to the rug so she can begin posing again. Eric tells her that nobody ever made him feel the way he felt about her. Nicole says the same, so Eric asks why she married Lucas. Nicole changes the subject and wants to continue on with the photo shoot so she can help him get the job. She tells Eric whatever he wants, she'll do. She then asks him if he wants her to do this, as she turns around and unhooks her bra and takes it off. Eric's just staring at her, not knowing what to do. He finally asks her what she's doing, and she tells him what he wants her to do. Eric goes back to the camera and starts taking pictures of her topless. This scene plays out for quite awhile with the Tina Turner music in the background, as Nicole poses seductively for Eric, while Eric is doing all he can to resist her. Nicole tells Eric that nobody has ever made her feel this free. She tells him that she wants him and removes her panties. Finally, Eric can't take it anymore and begins kissing her passionately. As they are kissing, Nicole manages to snap a photo of the two of them. After awhile, Eric pulls away and runs out of the room.
November 18, 1999
Eric is in the Titan Photo Lab looking at the pictures he took of Nicole the night before. He turns around and finds Nicole standing in the doorway. He goes to leave but she blocks his way and asks what's the hurry. She wants to know what he thinks of the pictures and he says they're fine. Nicole corrects him and says that they're hot. Eric asks Nicole what she wants, and she says the same thing he does. She pulls him into the room and shuts the door. Nicole begins coming onto him and Eric reminds her that she is a married woman. She answers that forbidden fruit is much sweeter. He got a taste of it last night and he wants more, right? Eric says he doesn't and walks past Nicole. She turns him back around to face him and tells him sure he does. He just doesn't have the guts to admit it. She tells him to just close his eyes, remember how it was when they were together, and just give in. She leans in to kiss him, but Eric grabs her wrists and tells her to stop. Nicole says that it's useless to fight the inevitable. They're going to give in to each other, so why not just enjoy it? She starts kissing his neck as Eric lets her. He finally pulls her away and tells her to please stop. Nicole sadly asks Eric that isn't this what he wanted all along? For her to admit that she still wanted him? He says yes, but before when it might have done some good. Why now? Nicole turns her back to him and says, "If only I could tell you." Eric is curious and asks Nicole if she is finally admitting that she married Lucas for ulterior motives. Nicole says that she doesn't want to talk about it. Eric spins her around to face him and wants her to tell him everything. Nicole, with tears in her eyes, says that she can't. "Tell me!" Eric says again. But Nicole still refuses. So Eric asks Nicole to at least tell him that she didn't marry Lucas for love. She tells Eric that if she had married for love, she would have married him. And with that, she runs out of the room. Eric chases after her and grabs her arm. He begs her to tell him the truth about why she married Lucas. Nicole cries that she can't........ not yet. She then runs off, with Eric staring after her.
November 30, 1999
Eric and Greta meet up at Salem Place. He apologizes about the photo shoot. They agree to go out on a date, and they share a little kiss. Greta jumps up and says that she has to go. She go visits "Hope" (really her mother Gina) and tells her that she wants to be sexy and alluring for her upcoming date with Eric. They agree to go shopping together.
Eric runs into Sami at Salem Place and they greet each other with a hug. Eric tells her that the New York people passed on him for the job, and now he's looking for some other place to work. Sami suggests that he go back to work for Titan. Eric thinks she's crazy. Sami tells him that Nicole is now the Director of Imaging there and she'd hire him back in a second. Eric doesn't know about that, but Sami does. She tells him that she's seen the way Nicole looks at him. Eric flashes back to his photo shoot with Nicole. He then tells Sami that he's still not sure about it, but Sami tells him it would be perfect if he went back to Titan. Then he could help her expose Kate, Nicole, and Lucas.
