I got the name Blue Christmas because Kingsley is blue, and Snow Pea is white, and white is the color of snow, and snow is around at Christmas time. Plus, if all goes well, they'll have some color to them that I can give some as Christmas gifts :). I won't be selling any of the fry around the holidays, as I don't want them getting lost in the holiday mail, plus the temperature is of course a concern at that time. Kingsley and Snow Pea are the lucky fish that have been hand-picked to start the Blue Christmas strain. This will also be my very first spawn, so hopefully it turns out. If all goes well, I hope to spawn these fish and start the Blue Christmas strain in the beginning of October. |
