Seashore Welcome
Another lousy scan... from the "between scanners" phase (e.g., I had to have the scans done at Kinko's or Office Depot or another similar place). Anyway, this one is actually quite large (not 2’ long, but long enough) and has something like 64 different colors of thread, some of which are only used in maybe 3 stitches. I bought the kit with all the thread included and pre-separated on cards, which is good, because if I’d known ahead of time what the thread component would be like, I might not’ve gotten the kit. Triple-matted with a bird’s-eye maple frame, or at least what looks like bird’s-eye maple. Just about drove me crazy doing this one. Oh, and the bottom center part is actually bare fabric, which led to the framing shop initially thinking I was just checking out frames and would bring the "finished" piece back later.
This piece was done for my maternal grandparents, who live on a barrier island.
