The Breeding Game

One of my interests is Genetics. This is probably one of the reasons that I love this game so much. But I was thinking today that we could create a sort of "game" using Creatures. So, as a result, I came up with the "Breeding Game".

In the Breeding Game, you start with four norns. There are two females and two males. For simplicity's sake, they are mostly "fox" type norns, with a "santa" trait thrown in to each one. So, for example, Rod has a santa head, and his body, legs and arms are all fox norn. Similarly, Robin has all fox norn body parts except her arms, which are santa norn arms. Thus, each of the four norns has a different body part that is santa norn, and the rest are fox norn parts. See the picture below.

Breeding Game

The object of the game is simple. In as few crossings as possible, try to breed a full santa norn. It's not easy - most of the time you'll get nothing but foxes. But with persistence, you should be able to do it. To make the challenge even tougher, try breeding two full santas, one male and one female.

In order to get the files to play, just click on the set of pictures above. Of course, you'll want to make sure you've got the santa and female santa sprites installed too. You can play the game without them, but you'll just be trying to get a horse norn.
