Ok, this is gonna be a page where I rant about something going on in the world right now, or something that interests me at the moment. I'll probably end up talking about music mostly, since it's basically my life. I'm sure I sound like an asshole, but that means you'll be amused! :)
WHO ELSE CAN WE BLAME!
Well, as you can see, my first rant has to do with Eminem. I love Eminem as an artist. I think his music is great, and shouldn't be looked at negatively. I'm getting sick and tired of people constantly looking at him and judging him for his lyrics. If these people that do this would listen to him in interviews, magazines, etc. then they would know that alot of the things he says ARE NOT TRUE! Many people these days are trying to blame him, and other people who make controversial music, for the horrible things that are happening in this world: school shootings, suicides, etc. I, personally, do not think that any of this has to do with someone's music.
There are people out there who are supposed to be caring and watching over their children, they're called: PARENTS. Eminem says in one of his songs, "don't blame me if little Eric jumps off of the terrace, apparently you ain't parents." I LOVE this line! It's so true! The parents, I think, are the people to blame. If your son/daughter is told he/she is not allowed to have the Eminem CD or any other CD like that, and they end up getting a hold of it anyway, then the parents should know how they got it! It really bothers me when parents blame music for the way their child is behaving! Give me a break! Teach them right from wrong, spend time with them, just be there for them. It's your fault they act the way they do. Parents influence their child more than anyone else.
People need to stop trying to find other people to blame for their actions. As soon as someone comes out with an album that's not coated with sugar, we go nuts and try to find the smallest thing wrong with it, and then dwell on it
for months or sometimes years. Leave this man alone! Actually, no, you know what...DON'T leave this man alone. The more you bitch about him and his music, the more money he makes. Plus...he doesn't give a fuck what you think.
TEENYBOPPERS!!!!!
Well! You knew it was coming! I wasn't gonna write another rant for awhile, but I was inspired this morning, when my friend, Megan, told me that people are STILL freaking out about some of the members of my favorite band, Hanson, having girlfriends! Girls.......GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!! I am sorry, but you people that flip out and have heart attacks over this stupid subject are absolutely crazy, AND PATHETIC! These boys SHOULD have girlfriends by now! And I hope they do! They're growing up, and we are too. There's that small percentage of you that are still stuck in the "teenybopper phase"! Are you ever gonna grow out of it?? I hope so, for your sake. Hanson does NOT care what you think when it comes to them having girlfriends. It's their personal life, you should have no part in it, unless you ARE their girlfriend. Which is something else that all you girls think! You all think that some day you're gonna meet Hanson and one of them is gonnal fall in love with you, and blah blah blah! IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!! KEEP ON DREAMING! I can understand now why Hanson never wants to tell the truth....because they know you'll all go psychotic on them and do something stupid! You girls need to grow up, NOW! And if Hanson has girlfriends then MORE POWER TO THEM!!! I hope some day they rub them in your little faces! Ok, I'm done....and I'm sure you girls that I'm talking about read this and thought, "you know I still have chance with one of them....what does she know!" LOSERS! Buh-bye!

WHEN SEX GOES POP!
Well, I haven't ranted in awhile, but I watched the show, When Sex Goes Pop, on MTV today and I thought that I should voice my opinion on it! I was happy I got the chance to see this. This topic is one that I've been wanting to hear about from the stars themselves for awhile. I'm going to talk more about Britney and Christina, rather than the "booty shaking", I don't care too much about that! It's getting old and dry, that's really all I have to say about that! Anyway, I always look at these outfits Christina and Britney wear, and wonder, "ok, why are they wearing that??" not that I have anything against what they're wearing, I used to, but now I  just say, "whatever!". I was happy to hear Britney say, "I'm not their parents." talking about the kids who are out there dressing like her, and I was also happy to hear Christina say to these "critics", "The hell with them." RIGHT ON GIRLIES!! I totally agree with both of them! They are old enough to make their own decisions, including how they want to dress! Britney said that it's not the way you dress, it's the way you live! Just because she dresses provocatively or whatever does not mean she's standing on street corners or dancing on poles, which is something that one viewer said she was missing at the VMAs! I say  if you've got the body then flaunt it! Don't worry about what other people think of you! And obviously, they don't!
I also feel bad for these girls because they are critiqued mostly on what they wear! They are not there to show off their bodies! They're there to show off their voices, and their dance moves! They're performers! That's what they do! Focus more on those two things, and I think you'll make some surprising discoveries! Christina has an incredibly powerful voice and is a great dancer! I should know! I saw her perform at a radio concert here! And Britney, well I give this girl props for putting up with so many people during the past two years! This girl has got attitude, which is good!! But, at the same time she has a sweetness to her, and it's genuine! Everyone thinks she is so fake, but I don't think that at all!!
The girl can sing! She can! I've heard her LIVE! I saw her in concert during the summer, and she kicked ass! She sang, she danced, everything! People jump to conclusions way too much when it comes to Britney. I feel bad for her, but she doesn't care what people think of her! I love that in a person!
So yes, these chicks get criticized way too much for their looks and what they wear. People don't seem to realize there's more than just that when it comes to a SINGER......obviously by the name!! I will confess that for awhile I did not like Britney at all, I thought she was fake, but if you really look at her and try to understand her you'll see she's not fake at all! And Christina, well I liked her in the beginning until she started getting wild, but then I stopped caring about that, and only cared about her singing! Which kicks ass! The bottom line is that these girls are GROWING UP, and either people aren't noticing it, or they DON'T WANT TO notice it! You're the one buying their CDs, so give them a break!
