thee Gothik Faerie Grove

Imagine..

a looming carpenter Gothic house.. a thatched-roof cottage.. a castle on the moors.. a wooded Tudor manor.. underhill in a faery mound.

Inside, at thee dark ov tha moon, gathers a small but dedicated group. Part social club, part philosophical lodge, part faerie rath, part witches coven.

Are you brave enough
to Join them?

Do you dare
to risk Enchantment?

What is
T h e e G o t h i k F a e r i e G r o v e?

Once upon an awfully long time ago..
there was a question of Belief. Or at least the hint - no, let's do be honest, the threat - of a question. There was also - and this is Really Almost True - about to be a princess.

And so it came to pass that where there was a Question, there might also be need of an Answer. Indeed, the very fate of the princess might depend on it.

It was these peculiar circumstances that gave rise to the notion of thee G.F.G.

But the threat was banished to the desert, the princess was rescued, and the question never asked. And there was much rejoicing.

Meanwhile, in a dusty corner of the web, thee Gothik Faerie Grove still lurked, largely unAwakened.

What could this odd creature be? Wandering pilgrims sometimes stopped by to look, and ponder, and write obscure missives.

Sometimes, pilgrims even arrived on the doorstep, but that is a much scarier story and we won't tell it here.

These days, thee Grove mostly serves as a virtual nexus for a small but scattered group of like-minded friends. Sometimes, we remember each other and try to shake off the torpor of everyday life long enough to
Do Something. But not very often.

If, however, anything were to happen, it might be getting together for dinner, forming an artist's co-op, dreaming about moving away from where we are and towards each other, meeting up at a festival, or even putting on a small fair.

Not a lot, and hardly the stuff of legend. But mayhap there are still chapters to be written..
