| Welcome to B R A V E H E A R T! There have been significant changes to B R A V E H E A R T in the past two years. As a result of over 25 years of owning goats, the time had come to finally take a deserved break from it all - management, steady competition - kidding season alone! - and, most needed - to update all my facilities. Therefore, over a two year period beginning in 2005, the decision was made and slowly seen through to sell the herd in it's entirety to life-long friend and fellow breeder, Rob Bourassa of Shadow Vale Nubians. I am ONLY taking a break and modernizing! This is not the end of breeding purebred goats for me. I have loved it, I have enjoyed it - it is something that I can truly say I am passionate about. I am fortunate to have been able to find such an endevour in my life that I have not only been successful at, but also continued to inspire me day after day, year after year with it's challenges. Who would give that up forever? I have decided to perserve my website as it was the last year I owned the goats for now. You can reach him at 1-403-264-6668. My goal in breeding purebred Nubians involves creating a structurally sound and upstanding doe with a capable, beautiful mammary system. To this end, I want a well-rounded doe - a doe that definately meets, or exceeds breed standards in milk production, classifies VG88 or higher by maturity, and remains competitive in the showring throughout development. In addition, but not to be overlooked, I also desire that my does show an appealing style and flow through their symmetry, and, are attractive in their breed character. I am very enthusiastic about qualifying my does for the Canadian Goat Society special recognition award of + Select Doe + which is in essence, a doe with official awards in each of the three areas - milk production, type classification and sanctioned show champion legs.
