Gosalyn's grandpa, Professor Waddlemeyer, had an invention. He called it the Waddlemeyer Ramrod. It was a divice that made things float and stuff. Taurus Bulba, a mastermind criminal, arranged for his men to get the Waddlemeyer Ramrod, the code to operate it, and then let Professor Waddlemeyer have an accident. But they got the order wrong. Professor Waddlemeyer had an accident and Taurus Bulba was put behind bars while Gosalyn went to the St. Canard orphanage.
But Taurus Bulba was not going to give up that easily. He continued working his men from inside prison. When the ramrod was moved, Taurus Bulba sent his men out to catch the train and bring the ramrod to him.
But that was when Darkwing got involved. He was watching for crime above the streets when he caught site of Taurus Bulba's condor carrying a trunk (actually it was a flying thing that they were gonna hook onto the train). He followed the condor to the train and then caught sight of Bulba's men. He recognized them, and prepared to right whatever wron-doing they were up to. Unfortunately it didn't turn out that way. Bulba's men were dressed as army gaurds, and when the conducter saw Darkwing beating them up, he took a photo (of course Darkwing had to pose for the camera) and told the newspaper that Darkwing was the one who robbed the train. Bulba's took off with the ramrod, Darkwing following. Bulba ordered his condor to take care of him, and the bird dropped Darkwing into a hangar where he met Launchpad (the introduction wasn't really pretty). |
