A visitor to GorOasis may apply for trial or probationary residency for up to 4 weeks.
A Trial Resident is granted Entry, Build, and Public Speaker privileges only, and is listed by the Chief Scribe as a Vacation Resident.
A Trial Resident will use one of the guest homes during their trial time
Trial Residency ends at the end of 4 weeks, or when the Administrator grants Full Residency.
If Full Residency is not granted at the end of four weeks, the person is returned to visitor status, and may not reapply for at least 8 weeks, or longer, at the Administrator's option.
A Trial Resident is a Free Person ONLY, and may not be a slave during the Trial Residency time.
Trial Servitude
A Trial Resident may act as a slave, or trial servant, to a Resident Free Person for a 48 hour period, with that Free Persons agreement.
The trial servant status will be reported to the Chief Scribe by gram by both the servant and the Free Person immediately.
The trial servant is then fully subject as a slave to that Residents command under the slave rules, excepting all * noted slave rules are suspended for the trial servant.
The trial servant must be online and available for at least 8 hours of the 48 hour period, at least half of that when the servant Master/Mistress is online.
The trial servant does NOT change their AW name for the trial period.
Slave Residency
A Trial Resident desiring to be a slave must follow the requirements for becoming a slave resident, before the 4 weeks trial period is over.
A visiting slave wanting residency on GorOasis must follow the requirements for becoming a resident slave.
Any person wanting to become a slave resident must fully understand and accept the slave rules.
