"It was a world of which Homer might have sung, singing of the clashing of the metals of men and the sweetness of the wine-dark sea."Gor is a world where... Where men are not ashamed of being men, and women do not try to deny they are women. Where masculinity is not something one should feel guilt over, and femininity is not something that should be overcome. Where being who and what you are is not an intention one should apologize for, and striving to succeed is a measure of your own goals and personal fulfillment, not a prefabricated mold. Where the differences and unique qualities of the individual are celebrated and encouraged, not stifled or limited in an attempt to make everyone equal or the same. Where the marvels of technology have not replaced the greatness of man. Where society and philosophy seek to grow in accordance with nature, not in contradiction. Where man is not content to be told he is satisfied with what is declared safe, expected and good, but seeks to live the short life we are given in a manner glorifying the human spirit. Where ideas like honesty, integrity and responsibility are not just words lost in the rush of modern life, but the foundation upon which one seeks to live. "To what must he be true, if not himself? To what else should he be true? He is born a hunter. Let him not forget the taste of meat." |
This new, revised version of the Sardarian websites is open as of Dec 11th, 2000.
It replaces the older sites first begun in March of 1998. The contents are written by Arius of Treve (AriusTreve)

"You may judge and scorn Goreans if you wish. Know as well, however, that they judge and scorn you.
They fulfill themselves as you do not.
Hate them for their pride and power. They will pity you for your shame and weakness"- BEASTS OF GOR, Pg. 11
"Norman is of a very different school of writing. We might call it wearing one's psyche on one's sleeve. The result is not so much fantasy (in true fantasy, nothing is ever quite what it seems at first) as allegory (in which actions and characters are weighted with quite obvious symbolic values, from which they do not stray)."- From - "Tarl Cabot Through The Looking Glass"
