MAYBE THEN YOU WON'T WANT TO

I'm chasing a dream
That is clear I'll never catch.
I keep chasing it in case
Some day I might just be as fast as you.
But if that day will ever come,
That I do catch you,
Maybe then I won't want to.
If you don't slow down right now
We'll never know if we had a chance.
So take a break and let me catch up
Just for one night and then you can run again,
If you want to.
