The focus on this "Shop Til You Drop" will be SEASONAL!  We would prefer mostly gifts and crafts.  Many of our "shoppers" at our last fund raiser were looking for them.  If you stopped by or helped out with it, you will notice we will be making some changes based upon what we learned through experience and "shopper" feedback.

VENDORS: We would like to include small retailers who can provide gift items either be "cash & carry" or delivered before Christmas.  Crafters and artisans of all types are VERY welcome!  We hope to have a wide range of beautiful handiworks presented.  Your table will be stationed with other vendors.  Don't underestimate the size of table you need!  We plan on using both rooms this time so it doesn't seem so cluttered and cramped.

YARD SALE: People are also welcome to have a "yard sale" table; however, we request you please limit your items to seasonal items and/or possible gifts.  Gosh, include items a child would buy for their parent or a gag gift for a friend!  Tableware, glassware and collectibles did sell well at the last "Shop Til You Drop" so that is obviously a popular area.   We will also have some sweaters, coats, holiday wear, and holiday decor for sale in the yard sale section.   Other popular items: We had many requests for books for all ages and guy stuff including TOOLS(Men are coming in... but not finding much!) All yard sale items must be priced and initialed.  It worked best to have the shopper bring their purchases to the "cashier" where the sales were recorded per person.  (It was too confusing for the shopper any other way!)  All "yard sale" items will be in the same section.  Again, don't underestimate the size of table you need!

DONORS: As you make your Christmas crafts, would you make one for this fundraiser?  Would you be willing to donate some items to the "general yard sale" table? (See targeted items above.) All proceeds will go to the fund.  Donations of cookies, coffee, punch, hot chocolate will also be accepted for concessions.  (Bring the cookie mix... we'll bake them!)

VOLUNTEERS: We could use assistance with pricing donated items, selling raffle tickets, setting up, tearing down, and hanging around for assistance/questions.  We could use assistance with picking up donations, providing baked goods, or even assisting with child care for the other volunteers.   We even need people to gather grocery bags for the purchases!

INFORMANTS!!  Please pass the word on to anyone you can think of:  your crafty friends, your next door neighbor who is moving in (or out!), retired persons who may wish to simplify their lives, professional crafters, artisans,  and so on!
