SYNOPSIS: Having been banned from touching a computer until his 18th birthday after a hacking stunt which brought the whole of Seattle to a standstill, Dade Murphy (Miller) and his mum (Alberta Watson) move to New York, where he resumes his techno boffin activities and meets a gang of like-minded folk at his new school, including the dreadlocked Cereal Killer (Matthew Lillard) and the gutsy Kate (Jolie). However, when one of their number accidentally infiltrates a corporate scam masterminded by The Plague (Stevens), it's down to the gang to divert computer catastrophe and the finger of suspicion pointed at them.
