I've heard the complaints about the poor software and slow games, but nothing can pry me away from this site. These games are unbelievably soft. It's not uncommon for eight players to see the flop, and plenty of them hang around for the river. But I guess if suckouts make you go berzerk, then you'll want to avoid this goldmine of a site; otherwise, get out your pickaxe and strike the motherlode!
To be fair, here are the 'problems':
Slow Games - The games only average about forty hands per hour. This is partly due to almost every hand going to showdown, but the action is also a little slow. It's not the server, it's the players. I've never been timed out here.
Buggy Software - The only problem I've had is getting into a game. Sometimes seats that should be empty will be reserved, even though there is nobody on the waiting list, and there are five other games that "aren't full". Just put your name on a list and hope a seat opens up shortly.
Other - There's no note-taking. And the site is full of Europeans. I don't mean that's a problem; it's just that they're five or six hours ahead of New York, so the site is busiest during the afternoon and early evening.
So by now I've probably turned you off of the site, and that's fine. If you don't like to wait a few minutes to be seated I can understand that, even if they are the fishiest games that you will ever see. Let me just say that I won a $97 pot, at 1/2, with a pair of queens. Nuff said.
