Dedicated to My Uncle Charlie and My Brothers, Jackie and Jimmie McDonald, My Drummer & Bass Player also Don Hill, My Steel Guitar Player  I would say they have their own Band now in Heaven.. I regret that we also lost Vern March, he has joined the rest of the Band in Heaven.
The Golden Old & Country Band was formed in 1973 by Me, Jerry Martin "Butch" McDonald, (Lead Guitar-Vocals) along with my wife Donna Jo (Lead Singer) and my little brother Jackie (Drummer)  his wife Brenda (Bass) older brother Jim  (Fiddle, Mandolin, and later Bass) David Bunch (Keyboards) Vern March (Rythm Guitar-Vocals) and Don Hill (Steel Guitar)

We played mostly around North East Ok., North West Ark. South West Mo. and South East Ka. for dance's and a few Grand Openings or wherever we could be heard and make a little money.

Now it 2002 and we are still Playing that Old Rock-N-Roll and that Old Country Music  THATS HOW WE GOT THE NAME

A few different musicians but still the same music:
