with legs together, with arms outstretched, horizontal to the floor,
palms
facing downwards. Now, spin around until you become slightly dizzy.
The spin
must be from left to right or clockwise. As a beginner you will
probably only be
able to do half a dozen times before feeling dizzy. Don't do any
more and you
can lie down or sit to recover from the dizziness. To begin with,
practice the
exercise only to the point of slight dizziness. In order to lessen
dizziness,
you can do what dancers and figure skaters do. Before you begin
to spin, focus
your vision on a single point straight ahead. As you begin to turn,
continue
holding your vision on that point as long as possible. Eventually,

steep mountains and hills as well as for stairs, is to raise the
knees

into each leg as

First, a good rotation exercise is to stand with the legs shoulder
width apart
and the arms and hands loose by the sides. The back is straight
and the head
upright with the gaze straight ahead. Relax or sink your shoulders.

upper body
and your arms loosely as far as you can comfortably rotate your
upper body,
spine and arms from the waist with your eyes following the movement
and looking
backwards, then come back past the starting position and swing,

to the right side, then back again to the left and so on, repeating

A second exercise starts from the same standing position as the
last exercise,
but this time the hips and pelvis are moved around in full clockwise
and then
anticlockwise circular movements, with the hands placed on the
hips as they
rotate. Try to keep the upper body and head still and make the
circles as wide
as you can. A third exercise from the same standing position with
the hands on
the hips or waist rotates the whole upper body in clockwise, followed
by
anticlockwise, full circles. The movement is from the waist--the
pelvis and
hips do not move, only the upper part of the body moves, in a horizontal
circle
with the radius of the circular movement being equidistant from
the vertical
centre of gravity line down the middle of the body. You should
be able to feel
the contraction and relaxation of the abdominal, waist and lower
back muscles
during the circular motions. This third exercise can be carried
out standing and
also sitting on the floor on your buttocks, with the spine straight
and the legs
flattened to the floor, straightened and separated as far as is
comfortably
possible to form a V-shape. The circular movements of the trunk
are then
practised with the hands on the hips or waist. In addition, while
sitting,
remove the hands from the hips and slowly side-bend comfortably
stretching from
the waist, with the upper body straight, to touch the toes with
your fingers,
holding the stretch without strain for a few seconds. Repeat on
the other leg.
These exercises should be repeated two to three times daily on
a regular basis
for results to come. They are particularly effective because they
work on the
back support muscles as well as on the abdominal muscles. (For

This exercise may be practised standing, sitting, lying down or
walking. Inhale
through the nose and briefly retain the breath, while performing
a quick series
of deep anal sphincter contractions. Hold the last contraction
tightly for a few
seconds, then completely relax the sphincters as you exhale. When
the lungs are
empty, perform one more deep contraction and release it before
commencing the
next inhalation. Do this two-three times. In the lying position,
you may direct
the stimulation of the contractions directly to the colon by performing
them
with knees drawn up against the chest, with arms wrapped around.
This exercise
expels noxious gas and helps prevent constipation. It exercises
the urogenital
diaphragm and provides an excellent prostate massage for men. The
prostate lies
behind the anal muscles. When the sphincter muscles are contracted,

through the pelvic region, four times daily to start with and then
four times

- both during the day and during the night. Correct breathing means
breathing
through the nose, not through the mouth. Nasal breathing is the

of the blood and
lymph, the circulatory system, and cellular metabolism. Nose breathing

the upper lungs. With the outbreath the lower lungs empty first

Both the inbreath and outbreath are smooth and rhythmic and carried
out
noiselessly and at a comfortable, easy pace. In contrast to the

breath, the incorrect incomplete breath of either upper, lower
or abdominal
breathing is practised by most people. Correct, complete breathing,
along with
relaxation, adequate rest and exercise, is an important factor
in reducing

love, clarity, will, intent. Say I am strong, giving, caring, committed,

make them into
sentences or statements. When you think of the word peace, you
connect with that
natural peaceful vibration in the minds of millions in the world.

is to talk of the qualities you aspire to as if you already have
them, using
words of present tense, now--I am rather tan I will be happy, I
have money now,
I am now organised rather than I am going to be organized, etc.
Avoid the use of
the words: should, have to and must. Use suggestions rather than
commands.
Remember, your inner dialogue is important, for the way you speak
to yourself
determines the events, people and objects you attract.Thus, to
become lighter,
to create happier events in your life, it is important to use higher
words and
thoughts when you speak to yourself and others. Don't underestimate
the creative
power of your thoughts. Create only that which is good in your
life by
entertaining only that which is good. Replace any negative thoughts
with more
uplifting ones, rather than trying to resist the negative thoughts,
which will
make them stronger. It is not helpful to resist in this area.
* How to eliminate negative thoughts from the mind.
It is not possible to think two thoughts at the same time, so if
a negative
thought comes up, as soon as you become aware of it, replace it
with a positive
uplifting thought, especially one which conjures up beautiful feelings.

no use resisting the negative thought. This will make it stronger.

is to bring in another element to solve the problem, in this case
a positive
uplifting thought. You may find the negative thought comes back
to haunt you, in
which case do the same thing again. In time it will cease to hold
the mind in
its grip as the mind will tend to be more charmed by the uplifting

A few deep,
complete nasal breaths and some abdominal exercises can help. Specific
laxative,

‘cross-crawl’, well known in Applied Kinesiology. The cross-crawl
is useful

can be performed in the vertical or horizontal position, and is
useful to begin
and end an exercise programme. It looks rather like walking on
all fours like a

hands/arms and feet/legs, with the knees and elbows bent, move
slowly in
opposite directions along the length of the body, just like they
do when you
walk swinging your arms in coordination with each opposite leg.
Thus as you bend
your right leg and left arm upwards your left foot and right arm
move downwards
and vice versa, the movements alternating. It may take a while
to get used to it
now that you are consciously applying it. The lying down on the
floor position
is good to stimulate the pelvis and the sacrum. You can also do
this exercise
standing up lifting the arms and legs up high alternately, rather
like running
on the spot but slowly. You could do this cross-crawl exercise
standing up in
the morning and lying down in the evening, for greater musculoskeletal
balancing
effects. For a more dynamic exercise you can gradually increase
the speed of the
cross-crawl movements, so it is somewhat like running-on-the-spot.
Then the
exercise will be useful for increasing cardiovascular efficiency
and the
circulation in general. As an aid, the following are helpful and
specific
instructions for the cross-crawl. Lie on your back with the legs
straight and
arms at your sides. Bring your right arm up to meet the opposite
leg, bending at
the knee. Simultaneously turn the head to the side of the raised
arm, take a
deep breath and look up towards the raised arm. Lower the arm and
leg, breathe
out and return the head and eyes to the neutral forward position.
Bring the
opposite arm and leg up, bending the knee. Simultaneously, turn
the head, take a
deep breath and look up towards the raised arm as the arm and leg
come up. Lower
the arm and leg, breathe out and return the eyes to the neutral
forward
position. This is one complete cycle. Repeat a number of times.
The cross-crawl
along with exercises which improve your balance (such as moving
one leg in
various directions, in turn to the front, side and back, slowly
withdrawing it
in and then pushing it out, while balancing on the other, will
help to increase
coordination of the nervous system. The cross-crawl also helps
to balance the
emotions, and mind-body energies generally. A young child having
tantrums often
spontaneously introduces a harmonising factor to the emotions by
lying on his
bed or the floor, on his back or stomach, and vigorously moving
his arms and
legs alternately backwards and forwards in the manner of the cross-crawl.
Similarly adults often go for a brisk walk or a run after a heated
argument,
emotional upset or confrontation. The natural alternate arm and
leg swinging
during brisk walking helps to restore balance to the mind-body
system, helped by
deep breathing of fresh air.

One person from America had a soft corn between the toes for over
20 years.
Castor oil on cotton-wool (sheep's wool is better) was placed between
the toes
on the corn, and the foot was bandaged to hold the toes together.

lot of the skin on and around the corn looked dead. Three days
later a hole
developed in that area and the foot was sore. But by the end of
two weeks the

* A magical mind-body technique to detect allergies and food intolerances.
Some people have found that using a pendulum (or dowsing) is a useful
way of
diagnosing food or other intolerances. Dowsing is operator dependent,
although
one simple technique of dowsing foods which most people are capable
of is
explained as follows. If you want to check which food item is good
or bad for
you simply buy or make a pendulum and use the following technique,
although it
may not work for everyone. A simple pendulum can be made with a
neutral
substance such as a cork or wood suspended by a piece of nylon
fishing line.
Place your left hand palm down on the table and put a food item
about four
inches away from it with the finger tips pointing towards it. Then
suspend (or a
friend can do it for you) the pendulum in the space between the
food and your
finger tips, about an inch above the table surface. Hold the pendulum
thread
between the forefinger and thumb about a foot up from the pendulum.
Using
pendulums for answers to yes/no questions is very unreliable, but
in this
technique no questions are asked you simply wait for a response.
Usually if the
food item is good for you the pendulum will swing between the fingers
and the
food. If it is not good it will swing at right angles to your finger
tips and
the food, away from both. If the food is neutral it will not move.
If the food
is very bad it will move more forcefully, as also if the food is
very good. If
you get no response try moving your hand closer to the food item
being tested.
This technique can be very useful to eliminate potential allergens
and sort out
food intolerances. However, just because one food is 'bad' for
someone it does
not mean the same food will be unhealthy for someone else. Also
it may be that a
particular food is not good in a particular season, or even at
that time of day.
There is also the interesting fact that if grace is said over a
food before
eating, eg. over white sugar which is usually negative for most
people, the food
item no longer has a negative effect. This shows the importance
of consciousness
and attitude when eating food, and indeed when performing any action
which you
wish to be successful and fruitful. (Some constitutional types--nervous,
thin,
worried, cold--are prone to food intolerances and may be intolerant
to foods
which may be usually good for them, eg. nightshades (tomatoes,
eggplants,
peppers, chilies). It is the hypersensitivity which is often the
problem and not
the food. So rather than restricting the diet it is better to use
herbs and
follow regimes to rectify the imbalance. Another way to use dowsing
to test for
allergies or food intolerances or simply to decide whether a food
is good for
you or not is to join the tips of thumb and third finger together
to make a
closed circle. Place the food item on your lap and then try to
pull break the
finger-thumb circle by inserting a curled finger of your right
hand in the
circle and trying to pull the finger and thumb apart. If finger-thumb
circle
breaks easily, then the food has negative energies for you, If
it holds then the
food has positive energies. Another method, which may not work
with everyone, is
to simply place the food item with your right hand next to your
heart in the
midline of your body. If you notice a slight straightening or expanding
upwards
of the spine, the food is good for you or has positive energies.

slight stooping or contracting of the spine or back then the food
has negative
