The Sanctuary of Michael is a group of initiates of the Hermetic Order of the Morning Star International who reside near San Diego California. The Hermetic Order of the Morning Star International is the present-day name of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.  Since its inception in 1888, the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn has been the most influential force in the modern rebirth of the Western Esoteric Tradition.
