GIANTS OF FAITH Hebrews 11:1-7 Dear Father, trustworthy God, You alone are worthy of faith, for you alone have the power to keep promises. Increase my faith, Lord. May I have the full assurance of what I hope for, the firm conviction of the reality of what I do not yet see. Give me faith in your creation and ordering of the world, that what is here is made out of what does not appear. Give me faith like Abel, who sought your approval and whose faith still speaks beyond his death. Give me faith like Enoch, who walked so close to you that you took him to yourself without his having to die. Give me faith like Noah, who was willing to preach your message to an unregenerate and unrepentant world. In the name of Jesus, who died in my place. Amen. Good Morning Prayer # 4823 Friends that pray together, stay together. Let's pray... Dear Lord, We thank You for this day. We thank You for us being able to see and to hear this morning. We are blessed because You are a Forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive us this day for everything we have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. We ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep us safe from all danger and harm. Help us to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let us make the best of each and every day to clear our minds so that we can hear from You. Please broaden our minds that we can accept all things. Let us not whine and whimper over things we have no control over. Let us continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when we sin, let us repent and confess with our mouths our wrongdoings, and receive the forgiveness of God. And when this world closes in on us, let us remember Jesus' example-to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when we are pushed beyond our limits. We know that when we can't pray, You listen to our hearts. Continue to use us to do Your will. Continue to bless us that we may be a blessing to others. Keep us strong that we may help the weak. Keep us uplifted that we may have words of encouragement for others. We pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. We pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. We pray for those who don't know You intimately. We pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others. We pray for those that don't believe. But we thank You that we believe. We believe that God changes people and God changes things. We pray for all my sisters and brothers, for each and every family member in their households. We pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. We pray that every eye that reads this know there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God, that every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. We pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly. This is our prayer. In Jesus' Name, Amen. If you prayed this prayer, change the number in the subject box before forwarding the message so people can SEE how many people have done so. God Bless!!!!!!!!!!! Know that YOU are already BLESSED by the person whom sent this to you. Author Unknown Submitted by Kimberly White Edited by Patricia Jones |

Submitted by Nicole Oliver ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Hello Prayer Warriors--it's time to do what 2 Chron 7:14 says!! Thanks a lot for faithfully staying up on the wall of prayer!!! Can you believe what is going on? Can we start a prayer chain? Helene Kennon ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~ * ~* ~ Lord, We pray for our country right now, that even as this prayer chain goes to all we have sent it to, that each of them would feel Your presence and Your comfort and that they would know that even in the chaos and the unknown, that you are in control of each of our lives and that you love us all. We are all in so much shock, Lord, and our lives have been shaken though we are not actually physically at the places that have been devastated. Help us each to find comfort in you and help us to feel your presence as we learn more and more details as the hours and days go by. Be with the victims, the emergency personnel, and our leaders in government. Guide them, strengthen them, and comfort them as they continue to face the horror of this tragedy. We pray this all in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen. Please pass this prayer chain on...at a time like this when we all feel so helpless, the best thing we can all do is PRAY! Submitted by Diva B. Precious Memories My first and only trip to New York in July 1992 for 10 days. For me it was a dream come true. We learn about the historical building in my History and Geography classes in School. I was actually going to observe history. New York is a beautiful place with lots of vegetation and water. Plush, rich, vibrant, energetic and warm. You can tell who the tourists are because they are always looking up at the buildings. I'd like to share some of my personal photos from my trip. They truly are precious memories. I never made it out to the Statue of Liberty for truthfully, that was too much water to drink for me, but I waved at her from across the harbor. We were going to the top of the Main Tower where there were inside and outside observatories. And the Windows of the World Restaurant. 110 stories in the sky. I was very fortunate to have seen such a beautiful building in all of it's Glory. Patricia A. Jones |

A child's perspective on how God was present on the tragic day. The lost are not lost, they are with God. Photo was drawn by a School age Child from Pennsylvania. If you find out the name of this child please send me an email. |
"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." Psalm 55:22 I was asked to pick four people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Please pass this to four people you want to be blessed and a copy back to me. This prayer is powerful and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to pray for one another. Here is the prayer. "Father, I ask you to bless my friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy spirit, I ask you to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them your peace and mercy. Where there is self doubt, release a renewed confidence through your grace, In Jesus' precious name. Amen. (I know I picked more than four, and you can, too.) Submitted by Alanda Rogers |
