My travels from the Sunshine Coast, BC through Canada and Western United StatesCross CanadaA winter drive across Canada in Winter 2004, starting on the Sunshine Coast, British Columbia, reaching Sainte Adele, Quebec and driving back. We took about a week each way, taking the trip leisurely, partly to see new places, and partly 'cause nature wouldn't let us go faster. We saw lots of Canada we would otherwise have just flown over and anyway we like driving axle deep in snow.North West Drive - Canada & USA month long road trip in Fall 2006 driving down the West Coast to California, and then East to Colorado, then traveling north up to Alberta and then back home to the Sunshine Coast, BC. Taking in the wine regions was a significant part of the trip - the locals told us to avoid the Utah and Idaho wines though :) First time to the midwest, eye opening.BC InteriorA 2 week trip into parts of BC's interior, it was partially for business. After a brief detour to Langley, Washington, we go to the Okanagan, then head North to Prince George and west to Prince Rupert. This is only half way up the province, but it'll do for this trip.
